            All Antique - Beautiful Matched Underwear!
            Pristine and FULL blonde mohair wig

Description: A truly rare find--a truly lovely doll in all antique clothing! This is the sought after Mold 1248 by the prestigious Simon & Halbig doll manufacturers--the sister to the SANTA mold 1249. Original incredibly full blonde mohair wig still in the original set, very large brown sleep eyes, with her FULL real upper eyelashes, deep deep modeling and lovely creamy bisque--all the things you would expect from this high quality manufacturer.

She is wearing her original dainty lawn dress with very wide lace edged bertha collar, pigeon breast front; matched underwear (pantaloons, petticoat). She has her original light blonde mohair wig, and pate. Wearing antique original leather shoes and original black knit socks.

This example is in the fabulous condition that is so rare to find nowadays--TRULY all original and the way these dolls were meant to look. She has a presence and grace that is truly amazing. With so many sadly redressed and replaced body dolls out there, why let a truly antique one this pretty slip by?

Excellent condition. Fine quality, simply beautiful bisque with excellent molding. HUGE eyecuts. Body is in near mint condition, original finish; Clothing is in wonderful condition.It is very clean and white, with only a few little pinhole wear spots here and there. It is gorgeous!

Name of Doll: 15" Simon & Halbig 739  NEW!
            Early Doll- All Original incredible outfit with....
            "AU NAIN BLEU" sticker on French Body!

Description:
This is an incredible find: an absolutely beautiful little Simon & Halbig made for the French market, in fabulous clothing! And if that isn't enough, she still retains the sticker on her very French style body of the famous toy store "Au Nain Bleu!" She is very early--with gorgeous china painting---peaches and cream, the look of the very early paler dolls with quality detailing of her full long lashes and multistroke brows. Her head cut opening is very high, giving her the typical French high forehead.
And if that all isn't enough, her modeling is DEEP and CRISP, indicating an early out of the mold doll. Her ears are unbelievable--look almost real!

   She is a diminutive 15" tall on an early fully jointed French body with the larger hands. She has HUGE handcut black rimmed eyecuts with her original root beer brown paperweight eyes, flat multistroke French style brows, painted upper and lower lashes. She has a pale blonde incredibly full and long mohair wig.

Her antique pink brocaded dress is adorable!! Made of a twilled cotton in a pink on pink pattern. Yoke is pink twill with wide French bretelles with lace trim. Her matching hat is outrageous--still crisp and shiny from the original finish. Her French shoes are dark brown leather with the original buckle and bow and loop closure, pink cotton knee socks. They are marked on the soles.

This very sophisticated and worldly girl with the fat cheeks looks as though she would like to talk to you! What a great doll----early rare face, wonderful small size, adorable dress, in ready-to-display condition AND from AU NAIN BLEU.

Condition:
Overall excellent. Pale very well-painted crisply modeled bisque. Clothing is in excellent condition, with only a worn spots to the waist ribbons and some to the netting inserts. Not objectionable or even noticible. Dress is in very good strong condition. Shoes show typical wear to the fronts. Body is in very good condition with just minimal wear to the upper legs. Varnish has darkened a bit but it is consistent color overall and not at alßl noticible unless you know it!

Name of Doll: 18” Schoenau and Hoffmeister--AO

                      Fabulous Shoes!

Description: Great little doll--an all original find. One of the better examples from this German dollmaker. Her bisque is GREAT. She has deep brown sleep eyes, painted upper and lower plus her real upper lashes and beautifully painted facial characteristics. She retains her original and FULL auburn mohair wig. Wearing her original looseweave cotton dress with lace edging, her original slip and undergarment and newer pantaloons. Her antique little center strap shoes are to die for! (Most dealers would remove these expensive shoes and put them on a more high-end doll--we don't like to do that!) Even has some jewelry which her former owner added--even though it is not antique, it still gives her a classy air!

Condition: Overall, generally excellent.The face on this doll is truly beautiful--very high quality bisque and top notch painting gives her a truly peaches and cream complexion. Bisque is great with some very very minor and tiny pepper spots on the side--typical in smaller dolls. Very slight rub to the china wash on the side of left cheek near ear. Clothing is in primo condition--simple yet very nice. Near mint fully jointed body! Little if any wear or dirt---a truly special find of a very sweet doll at a reasonable price. Great doll for the beginning collector--her mint body, antique shoes, clothing and wig are highly desirable--plus that sweet face will just melt your heart!

Name of Doll: 13.5" Kestner 260 character  NEW! 
                     Rarely found slant hip teenage body: MINT
                    Wonderful clothing; Original wig!

Description:
If you like hard to find all antique dolls ---this little girl is for you! She is a beautiful example of this very unique character doll with a rare and hard-to-find body type in ABSOLUTELY MINT condition.

Her childlike expression is enhanced by her big blue sleep eyes, well-done multistroke eyebrows on flat bisque, painted lower and real upper eyelashes, softly painted full cupid's bow lips and 4 teeth. Original pate and very full original dark blonde mohair wig in a Buster Brown cut. Her clothing is adorable: a jaunty sailor dress with soutache red trim and a matched hat. She has the cutest little lacy socks and soft kid leather white antique shoes with original buckles and ties. Just wonderful!!

Condition:
In fabulous condition! Well done bisque, with no chips, cracks, splits or hairlines. Mohair wig in excellent condition. Well done china painting. Dress in very good condition, clean and intact fabric. Her body retains the original finish with no wear to speak of---it is FABULOUS!

This is a sought-after mold number-especially in this condition and so beautifully dressed! She has that LOOK that will stand out in your doll collection--her tiny size and childlike look will really call your attention!

Name of Doll:  6" Kestner All Bisque
       ALL BISQUE and ALL ANTIQUE!
 

Description:
This is an adorable little guy (or girl?) A bright-eyed all-bisque baby made by the prestigious Kestner firm with his original wig and clothing. He would make a wonderful gift for your favorite big doll--or even for YOU to round out that collection.

He has simple yet appropriate clothing--satin "onesy"-someone has recently added pearls but I left them there since they really look cute. Painted upper and lower lashes, well-done single-stroke eyebrows.Tiny little cupid's bow open-closed mouth with two cute molded-in teeth. Nice bisque, with rosy cheeks and higher coloring. Very good/deep modeling--his little belly button is very pronounced and even had a dimples at the base of his back on his little bottom. Original little blonde mohair wig! Bent arms and legs make him a dream to sit and pose. And he has his little teddy that comes with him.

This is a sweet example of a tiny baby doll that a little girl of long ago would have cherished- He is waiting for YOU to cherish him also!
