Original Clothing- Fabulous Wig!
Description:
WOW! Another great example of a true attic find!
A doll in her original fancy chemise, with her fabulous wig! A lovely Heinrich Handwerck doll, their delicate mold 119, with a porcelain head by Simon & Halbig. Beautiful delicate facial modeling, original HUGE brown sleep eyes with finely painted upper and lower lashes, multistroke slightly raised brows. Pierced ears. Her original warm brown
mohair wig is soft and clean and unbelievably full; she also has her original cardboard pate. Her original body is even marked!
She is wearing her original chemise that can be described only as lovely: Handwerck clothing was typically very high-end and they even did up their chemises in style. Not only is it styled well with pintucks and cross-stitching on the front yoke, the lace is delicate and well preserved. Her original white satin shoes with pompons and pale, pale blue fancy weave socks are rare to find intact.
This is a great find---all original dolls are Hard to Find: finding one in immaculate condition is the real deal!

Name of Doll: 14" K*R Character Child NEW!
Slant-hipped toddler body; Deep modeling
Original full mohair wig
Description:
This is just about the cutest little guy you will ever find--and the pictures do NOT do him justice! He is a Kammer and Reinhardt character toddler with the desirable slant-hipped straight legged body--fully jointed of course. And he is in FABULOUS condition. From the top of his original tosca colored mohair bobbed wig to the tip of his original oilcloth shoes, he is just the way he was made.
Big blue sleep eyes, open mouth with two rounded teeth, multistroke brows on flat bisque and INCREDIBLE modeling. On his mint original K*R body. Pinned to his back is a clipping from a newspaper dated "Tuesday May 29, 1906. European Tour"--- I have no idea why, but it was there with him and has been for a long time, so we will leave it. It is consistent with his date of manufacture, so maybe he was wrapped in this newspaper by his original owner?
He is wearing a well made 3 piece outfit--cuffed blue pants and matching vest and a great shirt of Victorian printed and striped shirting fabric. Under, he wears a custom fitting one-piece union suit. Olive green striped socks, original black oilcloth shoes with pompon and original tie laces--he is the real deal!
Marks:
Head: K*R 28
